Sixteen Penny Company — Projects in Progress —

The 920 Centre Street project is in the planning phase, working with the Poor Clare Nuns to find and remodel a new monastery in Westwood for the Sisters, and we are working with a non-profit affiliated with the archdiocese to create 40 rental units of senior housing in the existing monastery. We are also working to create ten affordable for-sale units in an addition. The 920 Centre Street project will be a mixed-use compound with an estate feel in the coveted Jamaica Plain Arboretum neighborhood of Boston, MA. Working in partnership with Hacin & Associates and Mikyoung Kim Design, Sixteen Penny Co., restoring the existing monastery and also creating new Mass Timber residences.

The 15 Mount Carmel Street project is currently in the planning phase, and we look forward to working with the vibrant community to redevelop the monastery property into much-needed single-family housing. Situated primarily in Danvers on an 11.4-acre lot adjacent to the Danvers River and an existing single-family residential area, this site offers an ideal location for new housing. The Sixteen Penny Co. team will collaborate with the three municipalities —Danvers, Peabody, and Salem— and its' respected neighbors, to address the housing needs of each community.

The 26 Mt. Peg project involves the design and construction of four new townhouses in downtown Woodstock, VT, specifically designated for employee housing.

The 61 Central Street project is a remodel of three apartments for workforce housing and the vertically integrated farm-to-fork restaurants Santé, Mangalista & Decant Wine in Woodstock, VT.
Peace Field Farm in Woodstock, VT, is a 300+ acre vegetable and livestock farm that utilizes natural agricultural practices. Sixteen Penny Company began the design, and construction of this property in 2018 and continues to develop it. Peace Field Farm is a proud provider of natural produce, meats, and poultry for Mangalitsa & Santé restaurants. Additionally, Peace Field Farm’s in-house restaurant, The Barn, will be opening soon and will feature wine selections from the Decant Wine Shop. Click image to visit the Peace Field Farm website.
